Rotarian Andy Kolmar presents a cheque for £300 to headteacher Jane Dyer at Ewhurst Primary School
For many years, Cranleigh Rotary has presented cheques or books (usually dictionaries) to local primary and junior schools, as part of its commitment to young people and the local community. The financial donations are given in order to assist the schools in purchasing new books for their libraries.
The first three donations this year were made at the beginning of May by Cranleigh Rotarian Andy Kolmar, who attended the weekly assemblies of Ewhurst Primary, St Cuthbert Mayne and Cranleigh Church of England Primary in order to present each of them with a cheque for £300.
