Many of us start our day with a cup of tea or coffee, often relying on these drinks to keep us going. But while they do provide fluids, they shouldn’t be a substitute for good old-fashioned water. Drinking enough water is one of the simplest yet most effective ways to maintain overall health and well-being.
Why Water is So Important
Water makes up around 60% of our body and is essential for nearly every bodily function. It regulates temperature, cushions joints, helps digest food, and flushes out toxins. Even mild dehydration can lead to fatigue, headaches, and poor concentration – symptoms many people mistakenly attribute to needing another coffee!

Prioritising water over tea or coffee doesn’t mean you have to give up your favourite drinks, it just means you’re giving your body the hydration it truly needs.
