The Board of Trustees of Rowleys Centre for the Community in Cranleigh are pleased to announce that the Right Honourable Jeremy Hunt, Member of Parliament for Godalming and Ash (including Cranleigh), has kindly agreed to become our Patron.
Jeremy will visit the Community Centre on Friday 2nd May to meet with the members, Trustees, Staff, and Volunteers from 11.00 am.
Jeremy Hunt MP said: “I was delighted to be asked to be Patron of Rowleys. The services and activities the Centre provides to residents of Cranleigh are amazing and provide such a breadth of entertaining and stimulating things for its members. I look forward to supporting the Centre and am excited to meet trustees, staff, volunteers and members when I visit in a few weeks’ time.”

Rowleys Chair of Trustees, Paul Withers, commented: “Following the change in our constituency boundary we are thankful to our MP, Jeremy Hunt, for kindly agreeing to become our Patron. We know that he is a “local boy” and that he is a great supporter of our local community. We very much look forward to showing him around Rowleys so that he can see some of what goes on and we can talk about our plans for the future.”
Rowleys offers fun day-time activities, plus organised day trips and weekend breaks. Fresh meals and snacks are available from the cafe. The Centre’s membership scheme gives its members discounts on meals, activities, and in some local shops. Our two large rooms and smaller offices are available for other organisations to hire. Everyone in our local community, of all ages from Cranleigh and surrounding villages are welcome.
