Community Matters – Thank You to Waitrose

Neil Smith hands  Waitrose  cheque  over to Anne  Warzee, Annie Green and Chris Thomson from Friends of Rowleys.

Waitrose at Godalming, chose Rowleys Centre for the Community as one of the recipients of its “Community Matters” fundraising scheme and has just presented the Friends of Rowleys with a cheque for £277.

Members of Friends of Rowleys, Anne Warzee, Annie Green and Chris Thomson went along to the store to receive the cheque from manager Neil Smith. Rowleys is grateful to Waitrose Partner Co-ordination Manager Sarah Collins and her team who put the Cranleigh centre forward as part of the green token scheme in the branch.

The money will be used towards special days out and trips organised for Rowleys members to enjoy.
