Christmas is coming to St Nicolas Church in a big way this December firstly we have as many as 50 Christmas trees all being decorated. There will be prizes for the best trees for Business, Village Children’s Groups, Village Adult Group, and Individual entry.
We start with a grand opening on Friday 11th December at 11am and then in the evening there will be a Festival Concert in church surrounded by these magical trees at 7.30pm. On Saturday you can view from 9am with Christmas music playing throughout the day until 7pm, except when a Wedding takes place at 12.30pm to 2.30pm the church will closed during this time, what a lovely way to have romantic wedding to remember. Then we will be carrying on this truly special time with a fairyland feel and am sure the odd wacky tree to be seemed we are sure.
On Sunday again we start at noon until 6pm with the opportunity to attend the special Christingle Service which will take place at 4pm until 5pm within this forest of glittering trees all around, you don’t have to be a child to come. So this is just the start of things we are doing during December so watch the notice boards and check our website:

On the last day there will be a carol concert and prizes for the best trees at 6.30pm. The Festival sponsored by Santafir.
