It is now time to be aware of the seasonal change as we move from Summer into Autumn which can happen imperceptibly. The end of a season and a new one begins just as in life, when we move from childhood to adulthood and then retirement. What’s next?
Like autumn, midlife is our season of harvest. These are our peak years when the things we laboured over so intensely in young adulthood begin to pay dividends. It is a season in life for remembering, taking stock and reflecting, a time to take pleasure in the past, present and future abundance that is still to come.
