Cranleigh Amateur Swimming Club – A New Year!

Millie Hastie swam in 3 events improving her personal best times

The end of the year for CASC saw the final gala of the season at Guildford Spectrum and another 15 qualifying Surrey times. This was the last meet after a series of club champs and other galas where swimmers have been chasing Surrey times. Special note should be made about 14 year old Juliette Small who qualified for the Surrey Champs with a stonking 200m breaststroke race.

Well done Juliette. Another star was little Millie Hastie. She swam in 3 events and showed off her dedication to training with some huge PB’s! Well done Millie.

The end of season party was a raucous affair with kids in the water again this time on the inflatable at Cranleigh Leisure Centre followed by pizza in the band room.

So now we turn to 2019…. training for Surrey events starts in earnest and the next gala. In the meantime a break for everyone over Christmas to get ready for the new year.
