Friday 7th April at 10:30am
We are sure you are all looking forward to the warmer sunny days of spring and looking forward to seeing all the beautiful spring bulbs herald the onset of summer. As Easter fast approaches Cranleigh Lions Club is once again delighted to invite local families to take part in our annual Easter Egg Hunt on Good Friday 7th April.
We invite children up to the age of 10 (accompanied by an adult) to participate. An area of the Showground woods will be marked out into four zones, according to the children’s age. A number of plastic eggs will have been hidden and when a child finds a plastic egg, they will be able to redeem it for a real chocolate egg at the Lions tent. Please note: One egg only per child.
The event always proves popular with families allowing children to have fun and let off steam in the open air. There is ample parking at the showground site and the event is free to take part, we do ask for donations to help cover our costs, there will also be a raffle to help with fund raising.
Do come along and enjoy the fun, refreshments will be available. The event starts at 10.30 when our very own Lion Roary will start the hunt. We advise people to arrive from about 10 am and wear appropriate footwear as the ground may be wet or muddy.
