The popular Guildford Arts Annual Summer Art Exhibition – which was an annual feature for over 20 years (until Covid hit) – returns to the historic riverside Mill Studio, next to the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in the heart of the town. After a limited on-line presence last year, this carefully curated contemporary art Exhibition entices us back to look at art in person, dispelling our flat, on-screen experiences of the last year. Rich Miller, ceramicist and judge from The Great Pottery Throwdown will launch the Exhibition.
This exuberant, wide-ranging show ensures that no two techniques or interpretations are the same. Over 20 local and national artists display their talent and expertise in glass, ceramics, sculpture, paintings, drawings, metalwork, print and photography. All the art is for sale, so it is a great opportunity to pick up a unique piece of art to enhance the home.
