Ripley Bonfire 2018

As well as the bonfire and spectacular firework display there is an extensive funfair, food stalls, a bar which has a perfect view of the bonfire and fireworks with live music.

19:10 – Torchlit Procession Commences – The Torchlit Procession, led by the Ripley Bonfire Queen and her attendants, preceded by the band, leaves the village hall and makes its way to the green.

19.30 – Lighting of the Bonfire! – The Torchlit Procession arrives at the green and the Ripley Bonfire Queen lights the bonfire

20.00 – Firework Display Commences

Directions by car
Ripley is situated just over 2 miles south of the M25/A3 intersection (M25 Junction 10).

From the M25, head south on the A3 in the direction of Guildford, for just over 1 mile until you reach the first main junction, signposted “Ockham, Ripley and Send”. Leave the A3, take the second exit off the roundabout and proceed straight ahead into the village.

Approaching from the south, proceed along the A3 past Guildford. Ripley is the first main junction north of Guildford, signposted “Ripley, Woking and Dorking”. Leave the A3, continue down the dual carriageway and then go straight on across a roundabout. This is Portsmouth Road and will lead you directly into the village.
