Cranleigh solicitors Lynn Murray & Co are pleased to announce the appointment of employment law specialist Richard Brown as a consultant solicitor. Richard has over 25 years’ experience as an employment solicitor and is delighted to be bringing that expertise to a local firm.
Richard grew up in the North East of England. He trained and qualified as a solicitor in the West End of London before joining a firm of solicitors in Guildford in 1990. He has lived with his family in Cranleigh for over 23 years.
Before joining Lynn Murray & Co Richard had been the head of employment law at his previous firm for 25 years and had been managing partner there for the last six of those years. He acts for both employers and employees and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association. He has written numerous articles and has presented many seminars about employment law. Richard says “Employment law is constantly changing and it is no longer possible for the more generalist solicitor to keep on top of those developments.
Cranleigh is growing ever larger and has a thriving business community. It is therefore very important that there is local access to specialist advice so that employers can ensure they are complying with their legal obligations and employees can ensure that their employment rights are protected.”
