Taking place in a magnificent setting amongst woodlands and fields, with easy access from Cranleigh, spend time outdoors in the fresh air in the company of family and friends.
Organised by Surrey Hills Enterprises, the Community Interest Company that works with local businesses to support the rural economy and promote, protect and enhance the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), the event is part of a range of activities and events put on throughout the year.
The perfect late summer day out, the Surrey Hills Wood Fair provides the chance to celebrate the heritage and beauty of the woodlands of the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Smell the wood smoke, see master craftspeople in action and get involved in woodland demonstrations and wood-related games and activities under the canopy of the ancient English woodland.
Children of all ages can try their hand at fire making, whittling, den building, archery, stoneage art, carving and more. Alongside the interactive activities and demonstrations, there will be handmade wood-crafted products from local artisans available to purchase, live music and a wide selection of delicious food and drink on offer from Surrey Hills’ producers.
