A heart-warming solstice story for young and old alike. Inspired by an old Austrian Folktale.
As the nights draw in and we look forward to celebrating a joyful festive season, there are some who won’t receive gifts, some who will be alone without family and friends and those who will go hungry. But, did you know that, once a year around the time of the Winter solstice, King Laurin, King of all the Goblins in the High Tyrol, will sneak down into the village and secretly visit one family. It is said that he will play his tricks and share his bounty with them.
You’re invited to snuggle up around our proverbial fire, with family and friends, to celebrate the festive season with this playful, trickster story about trust, sharing and more than a little splash of mischief!
Running time: 50 minutes followed by a post show reception for all ticket holders.
